Aahsaopi Elementary School Welcomes You!

Aahsaopi Elemntary School provides its students with a safe and secure learning environment. The Staff are dedicated to teaching your children. We follow the Alberta Education Curriculum and we teach the Blackfoot Language and Culture.

Programs

• All Students are included in the Hot Lunch Program along with Breakfast each morning
• Aahsaopi Elementary School provides both Regular and Blackfoot Immersion Classes
• We have an excellent Special Education Program for Students with Special needs and Disabilities 
• The Apikayii Head Start Facility is located adjacent to the school and provides an wonderful learning environment for your children

Field Trips
     
      Each Classroom is allowed to go on the following field trips:

• 1 Long Field Trip - Calaway Park
• 1 Short Field Trip -
• 2 Swimming Trips - University of Lethbridge
• 2 Skating Trips - Standoff Ice Centre

Incentives

• A $5.00 award will be given monthly for perfect attendance (up to 3 absences will be excused with a Doctor's note)
• A $100.00 year-end attendance award will be given to students with 100% attendance no excuses will be accepted
